Best Disc Golf Carts
Let’s get rolling!

If you’re like me, and for whatever reason think it’s necessary to carry 500 discs with you on the course at all times and are getting a little long in the tooth, you’ve probably considered getting a disc golf cart.
The repetitive strain of picking up and putting down 25lbs, 50 to 100 times a round has to have an effect on your energy levels, not to mention putting you at risk for injury.
But the best disc golf carts aren’t cheap, so it’s good to do your homework before forking over your hard-earned cash. At least that’s our philosophy over here at Save On Disc Golf.
Lucky for you, we’ve done most of the homework for you. We’ve done a little bit of internet sleuthing to see which carts sell the best and which ones are the best reviewed.
Best Disc Golf Cart Methodology
In our other “best series” blog articles, we were able to collect a larger sample of data from top-selling and highest-reviewed lists to inform our choices. We used information from a variety of retailers in the U.S., Canada, and Europe and selected discs or bags that appeared most frequently on the lists.
When it comes to carts, that data wasn’t as readily available because most retailers don’t have a “top-selling” or “best-reviewed” list just for carts. On top of that, carts don’t seem to be very popular on European retail sites.
We did, however, get enough to make a well-informed article.
In order to give you a list of the best disc golf carts we consulted the following:
We then counted up how many times each model appeared in these various lists and collected the Top 7 models.
We’ll list them here in reverse order, from least-mentioned to most-, keeping in mind that the least-mentioned models are still among the top-selling, highest-rated disc golf carts on the market.
Top 7 Best Disc Golf Carts
As you go through our list of the best disc golf carts you’ll notice a theme: ZÜCA dominates the market.
That being said, don’t overlook the other companies. There are some fantastic options outside of ZÜCA that you shouldn't sleep on.
Check out each cart's features, technical specs, and price. You’re sure to find one that’s right for you.
(For the sake of simplicity, we’ve grouped any Dynamic Discs carts in the same category as ZÜCA. Dynamic Disc’s Transit, Backpack, Compact, and EZ models appeared in the lists we consulted, but are all made by ZÜCA.)

Our review:
ZÜCA’s Trekker cart is the all-in-one option for the serious disc golfer. It has an included bag that holds up to 25 discs and all the bells and whistles you’d expect from a ZÜCA cart. It’s on the more expensive side, but has everything you’ll need.

Our review:
The Bag Boy Quad XL is the alternative option on this list. It’s the only push cart and the only one with the stability of four wheels. It’s endorsed by “Big Jerm” Jeremy Koling, so it’s gotta be a good piece of gear. And despite it’s larger footprint, it actually folds up to be quite compact when compared to all the options in this list.
#5 - ZÜCA Transit Disc Golf Cart
Pull cart

Removable integrated bag

All-season tubeless tires

WEIGHT: 15.6 lbs
Price:
Approximately $299 USD
Our review:
The ZÜCA Transit is another all-in-one option for the serious disc golfer. This one sits a little lower to the ground than the Trekker and has some “open air” storage and a smaller bag, whereas the Trekker has everything stored in the one, large bag. It still holds up to 25 discs.
#4 - MVP Rover Disc Golf Cart
Pull cart

Low center of gravity
Aluminum tube structure
Tubeless foam tires
Handle extends up to 50 inches tall
Heat-treated, powder-coated finish

51″ tall with handle
Weight: Under 11lbs
Price:
Approximately $225 USD
Our review:
The MVP Rover came in as the most compact disc golf cart on our list and one of the lighter options. This disc golf cart is for the golfer that wants to keep things clean and simple, using their own bag to store their discs.
#3 - ZÜCA EZ Disc Golf Cart
Pull cart
Features:
Fits most disc golf bags
Built-in bag support shelf
Additional storage shelf
Tubeless tires
Two XL beverage holders
Sealed wheel bearings
Technical Specs:
51” Telescoping handle
26.52"H x 24"W x 16"D (including wheels)
WEIGHT: 10.6 lbs
Price:
Approximately $189 USD
Our review:
The ZÜCA EZ is the most affordable option of the disc golf carts we’ve featured. It still has all the top-notch construction and foundational features of a ZÜCA cart (minus the seat), but won’t break the bank. It’s in a similar category to the MVP Rover, its simplicity and minimalism offering just what you need to get your bag off your back.
#2 - ZÜCA Compact Disc Golf Cart
Pull cart
Features:
Included bag
Carry up to 15 discs
Removable tubeless tires
Built-in seat (lower than other models, holds up to 300 lbs)
Adjustable inner top shelf
Compartment dividers

Two XL drink holders

Sealed wheel bearings
Telescoping handle
Technical Specs:
22”W x 17”D x 19”H from the seat to the ground (not including telescopic handle)
44" Telescoping handle
Weight: 10 lbs (frame, bag, rack & pouches)
Price:
Approximately $239 USD
Our review:
The ZÜCA Compact is like the Trekker on a diet. It has a very similar look and feel, but with less storage space for discs, only holding up to 15. And despite its smaller carrying capacity, the frame still supports a built-in seat. It is also the lightest option on this list.
#1 - ZÜCA Backpack Disc Golf Cart
Pull cart
Features:
Fits most disc golf bags
Built-in seat (supports up to 300 lbs)
Tubeless foam tires
Removable wheels
Two XL bottle holders
Sealed wheel bearings
Technical Specs
51” Telescoping handle
24.5"H x 14"W x 9"D
24.5"H x 22"W x 14.5"D (including wheels)
Weight: 13.5 lbs
Price:
Approximately $239 USD
Our review:
One thing is clear: this disc golf cart is very popular. The ZÜCA Backpack cart was the most-featured disc golf cart across all the lists we referred to. We’re guessing it’s because this cart not only allows you to use the fancy bag you’ve already bought and become accustomed to, it also allows you to easily switch back and forth between carrying your bag and rolling your bag from round to round.
